Volunteer

Throughout the year, there are always opportunities for you to volunteer your much needed time, services and attendance. Some of the major events of the year are:

• September - At the beginning of each school year, we recruit new parishioners to help out with our many ministries. If you'd like to get involved, contact any of the people mentioned at the bottom of our ministry pages.
• October - Each October, we host our Annual St. Demetrios Dinner Dance in honor of our Patron Saint Demetrios.
• December - Christmastime always requires help with decorating and purchasing gifts and items for the needy. Please contact the Philoptochos if you can help.
• January - Our Annual New Year's Eve Dance is a great way for families to celebrate the new year in a safe and warm community environment.
• February - Our Philoptochos tirelessly works to help many throughout our community. Each February they host their most important fundraiser, The Annual Fashion Show.
• Easter - Easter is an important spiritual time with many services and needs throughout the season. Contact the church office directly if you can help provide flowers, funds or time and help with the Anastasi Dinner on Holy Saturday.
• May - One of our newest fundraisers is our Annual Golf Outing. It is a day filled with golf, food and friends. We always need help with registration, hole sponsorship and coordination. Please contact the church office if you can help.
• GreekFest - As the most important fundraiser for our church every Father's Day Weekend, many, many people are needed to donate time, money and muscle throughout the 3 days. Please contact Chris Kontos at 630-834-7010 if you can help.
